Silica fume for agricultural fertilizer and soil improvement

Mixing  silica fume with potassium hydroxide or potassium carbonate and heating can be made into potassium silicate, which is not prone to volatile, so that protects soil, promotes crop root development, inhibits pests and diseases. Also add silica fume into waste material such as waste bark produced by cellulose or wood mills to form a mixture that enhances soil fertility.
